Class Descriptions

Preschool Dance: Dancers will focus on ballet/tap. Dancers must be 3 years old to take class. Wear comfortable clothes, if wearing tights they must transition to bare feet. Closed to parents.

Acro 1: This class is designed for dancers who want to work on their handstands, cartwheels, backbends, walkovers, flexibility and more. Ages 5-7

Acro 2: This class is designed for young athletes ready to take their Acro skills to the next level! Focused on strength, flexibility, and technique, students will progress toward more advanced skills, including front and back walkovers, back handsprings, and seamless floor transitions. Through structured drills, conditioning, and spotting, participants will build confidence and body control while mastering proper form. Ages 7 and up, must have evaluation to register.

Mini Combo: Our Mini Combo is for children ages 5-7. Class will rotate through ballet, tap and jazz.

Musical Theatre: We will learn about musicals, focus on stage presence and performance in this class. Dancers should wear all black, bare feet.

Petite Technique: Designed for dancers who want to build strong technical skills, this class focuses on the foundations of jazz technique in a positive and encouraging environment. Dancers will work on proper body placement, flexibility, leg extensions, turns, leaps, kicks, and overall strength while developing the fundamental skills used by competitive dancers. Whether your child dances recreationally or hopes to join a company team in the future, Petite Technique provides the training needed to grow in confidence, improve performance quality, and build a strong technical foundation.

Petite Ballet: This ballet class for dancers ages 7-9. We will work at the barre, center and across the floor, prior ballet experience required, must pass Mini Combo or instructor evaluation.

Junior Ballet: Building strength through technique, confidence at the barre and across the floor combinations, ages 9-13, evaluation required.

Pre-Pointe: Our Pre-Pointe Ballet Class is designed for dedicated ballet students who are preparing to transition to pointe work. Dancers must also be enrolled for Junior Ballet and Legs and Feet.  This class focuses on developing the strength, technique, and alignment necessary for a safe and successful introduction to pointe shoes.

Dancers will work on: Foot and ankle strengthening exercises, Core stability and balance training, Proper ballet technique and alignment, Flexibility and mobility drills, Pre-pointe assessments and readiness evaluations.

Students must have prior ballet experience and instructor approval to enroll. This class is an essential step for young dancers aiming to progress in their ballet journey with confidence and strength. Ages 10+

 Tap: Dancers will develop their musicality, coordination, and footwork through fun exercises, across-the-floor combinations, and energetic routines. This class focuses on building a strong foundation in basic tap techniques, including shuffles, flaps, time steps, and more. Students will learn to listen to the beat, explore different rhythms, and express themselves through movement. Whether your child is new to tap or looking to refine their skills, this class is a great way to gain confidence, improve agility, and have fun making music with their feet!

Flexibility/Strength: This class will work on flexibility and strength to develop Acro skills for floor transitions and improve overall musicality within movement.

Pom: This class will incorporate jazz/pom to make a high energy fun class; great for dancers interested in dance team.

Stage Performance: This class focuses on mastering stage presence, emotive expression, and choreography designed for live performances. Participants will learn how to captivate an audience, transition seamlessly between formations, and connect with their fellow dancers while building confidence on stage. Ages 6-12 are welcome to attend.

Lyrical: Discover the beauty of movement and expression in this Lyrical Dance class! Designed to blend elements of ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance, this class focuses on storytelling through graceful and emotive choreography. Dancers will explore dynamic techniques, fluid transitions, and musicality, learning to connect deeply with the music and their own emotions. Ages 6-12 welcome to attend.

Turns/Leaps: Take your technique to the next level with this dynamic and high-energy class designed to enhance your turns, leaps, and across-the-floor skills. Dancers will focus on proper form, alignment, and execution while learning a variety of turns, jumps, and traveling combinations. This class emphasizes flexibility, strength, and control, offering personalized corrections to help each dancer improve. Perfect for all levels, from beginners looking to build foundational skills to advanced dancers aiming to refine their artistry and power. Get ready to turn, leap, and shine across the floor! Open to all levels, ages 8-12.

Diamond Technique: This class is designed for dancers ages 6-12 who have dance experience in technique, dancers will be evaluated prior to registering for class. Dress Code: All Black, hair pulled back. Priority is given to dancers in our Diamond Company, evaluation required.

Advanced Technique: Dancers must have an evaluation prior to registering, experience is required. Dancers will use equipment during this class to strengthen their bodies and learn advanced controlled movements, ages 8 and up.

Modeling: Ages 7 and up. Each model will be photographed to work on their portfolio during class time as well as learn runway walk, interview skills and posing. Models need to wear all black.

All dancers should arrive 5-10 minutes early to prepare for class to start on time. If you arrive late, please enter class quietly.

All dancers must have their required leotards, tights, shoes, socks and equipment for class. All of these items will be purchased through our store to make sure that all students have the correct training items for their classes.

Students are not permitted to bring anything but water to class. Absolutely no soda or energy drinks are permitted.

Teachers are not available for meetings during class time, if you need to schedule a meeting please email the director.

Tuition is due on the first of each month and is based on your enrollment not your attendance, a $25 late fee will be added to all accounts that are not paid on time.
